Chegg.com Smashes World Record at UCLA 9/19

Chegg.com, the leading online textbook rental company, set a new Guinness World Record for the world's largest cardboard box. The event took place at the UCLA versus Kansas State football game on Saturday, September 19th.

Resembling Chegg's iconic orange shipping box, the record breaking measurements were 46 ft long, 20 ft wide and 9 ft tall, eclipsing the old record of 42 ft x 16 ft x 8 ft set just two weeks ago.  The box took two days and fifteen people working around-the-clock to construct.

Chegg.com saves students 65-85% per textbook.  Since 2007, Chegg.com has saved students $44MM on the cost of textbooks.  Textbooks arrive within one week from order and return postage is free.  Chegg.com plants a tree for every textbook rented.  To date, we have planted more than 850 acres of new forests.
