Largest meatball

The need to knead some meat to feed helped Concord, New Hampshire ‘Nonni’s Italian Eatery’ roll a decisive Guinness World Records™ victory!

Weighing in at 100.92 kg (222 lb 8 oz) the record-setting largest meatball consisted of fresh ground beef as well as proper ingredient proportions of farm fresh eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, unseasoned bread crumbs, and assorted seasonings.

The Final Mark

Guinness World Records™ adjudicator Danny Girton Jr. was present to witness final meatball preparations and to officially authenticate the 1 November weigh-in.

Mathew Mitnitsky - chef and proprietor of Nonni’s Italian Eatery – showcased the largest meatball record attempt during the first annual Nonni’s Family Day, which invited community members to enjoy a day of activities including a ‘Meatball Ladle Run’ and ‘Spicy Meatball Challenge’ eating contest.

Mat meets a Guinness World Records achievement

According to event sources the record-setting meatball was later donated to local non-profit group ‘The Friendly Kitchen’, which has served more than 600,000 meals since its 1980 inception.
