Description: Four World Fitness Endurance Records bit the dust on the 13th May 2008. Paddy Doyle {GB} set a new World Record best by achieving 1,619 step ups carrying a 40 lb back pack on a 15 inch bench. The previous World Record was held by Rob Simpson {Leeds UK} which stood at 1,511 step ups. The World Record challenge was supported by the general public. Also in attendance were officials from various Sporting Bodies and a Birmingham City Council Government official.
