On Sunday, 21 June, at 1:30 p.m. a new Guinness World Records™ achievement was attained for the most rolls across the forehead using a standard competition football. The previous record was an impressive 188, set by Dan Magness (UK) in 2008. This time round, John Farnworth (UK) broke the record with an amazing 553, in Nottingham.
The event took place in Titchfield Park as part of the Ashfield festival of sport, alongside a variety of other sporting activities including football tournaments, boxing exhibitions, hockey, squash, netball, rugby, cricket, BMX and skateboarding.
Carol Hallan, the event coordinator stated, "The day was a big success, bringing the community together on Father’s Day." The record was verified by official Guinness World Records Adjudicator Carl Saville.
