Description:

On September 6, 2009, at a geek gathering called DragonCon, 903 of my closest friends gathered in a ballroom to dance Michael Jackson's GWR winning song "Thriller".

We danced the complete 5:58 minutes of the US version as per GWR guidelines and most of us IN COSTUME!  Notice, please, the Alien, the sparkling glove a la MJ, Flying Spaghetti Monster, The Joker, zombies from all fandoms, and even our very own Michael on stage leading the crowd.

To me, we have the true record, and although it's not "official" for reasons yet explained, this is a memory that I will tell my grandchildren about.

Thank you, DragonCon!
