Sephora makes over New York!

On 31 July 2009, Sephora took over Times Square to celebrate the opening of their thirteenth Manhattan location and set two new Guinness World Records™ achievements: most lipstick applications in one hour and most makeovers by a team of five in one hour

The day-long event, officiated by Guinness World Records Adjudicators Laura Plunkett and Jennifer Gilmour, kicked off with professional make-up artist Jerry Huchinson setting the GWR record for most lipstick applications in one hour with a staggering 107 applications!

Jerry Hutchinson 'seals' victory

Not to be outdone, the five-person team of Jerry Hutchinson, Adi Lando, Christine Egashira, Alex Kambanaos and Nathalie Bechard managed to set another record for most makeovers by a team of five in one hour: an amazing 85!
