WCG Ultimate Gamer runner-up Robert Paz will try to break the Guinness World Record in Rock Band 2

During the first day of the US Invitational, the WCG Ultimate Gamer runner-up Robert Paz will try to break a marathon Guinness World Record™ in Rock Band 2. Officials from GWR will be on-hand to monitor as Rob tries to amass the highest aggregate score on all 84 songs from Rock Band 2 on expert mode using his ion drums. The World Cyber Games has been the recipient of many Guinness World Records® and is featured in the 2007 and 2008 editions of the book, as well as the recently released Guinness World Records 2009: Gamers Edition. 

Nearly 100 of America’s best gamers will compete in the most popular titles on the planet as the World Cyber Games (WCG) and Samsung Electronics America host the WCG US Invitational May 16 and 17 at the Samsung Experience.
 
Additionally, host Joel Gourdin and the final 6 contestants -- Mark, Rob, Swoozie, Chelsea, Jamal and Amy -- from the hit SCI FI reality show “WCG Ultimate Gamer,” will be on-hand Friday, May 15 for a rare Q&A session with fans and some thoughts on their experience on the show.
